I recently had coolant spray all over under my hood. I have since replaced hoses that were going bad. I want to spray it off with water but have heard so many conflicting things! I live in AZ so it's never really "cool," but after its been sitting for awhile, do I start it and keep it running while I lightly spray it down with a hose? Then do I let it dry while it's still running? Any help with this process will be greatly appreciated.

Just be very careful what you spray. Don't spray anything electronic.

Thanks. I ended up just spraying it with a water bottle and wiping it down with a towel so I wouldn't get things too wet.
