hi. my vw jetta has this problem im not sure what it is. we were driving and then it started to act wierd by stutering and the idle went down and there was like whiteish smoke coming out of the tail pipe. do u think it would be the head gasket is blowen? or the fuel filter is shot? thanks!!!

Are you using coolant? any over heating? i would get the head checked for a blown gasket first if just to eliminate this from the problem, what engine is fitted?
