not getting spark, engine turns over but will not start up.

engine rotates and gets fuel but no spark, tested wires and no spark there.

No snapping blue spark continue to troubleshoot the ignition system-power input to the coil/coil packs,coil's resistances,distributor pick-up coil, ignition control module, cam and crank sensors and computer Note: If it doesn't apply disregard it.

where do I start? how do you check the coil pack? it has 6 posts on a Vr6 2.8 jetta

Check fuse no.29 if okay have the motronic engine control module tested-
