My car is choking when i got over 3000 rpm in 4th and 5th gear. After that it chokes in all gears. The engine light came on. What is wrong with it? The dealer change everything, from spark plugs to wiring cables. He told me that probably its the EGR valve or some hose connected to it. Please help.

thank you in advance

The computer is not wrong. The problem is your mechanic. He does not know to properly diagnosis volkswagen circuits. Either post up the faults on here and I will lead you in the right direction, or take it to another mechanic who can properly diagnosis the car.
