i have a 2000 cabrio both power windows stopped working at same time as well as both mirrors and power convertible top? are these separate issues or possibly related? how to diagnose

They are most likely related. Check fuses first, both in the car and under the hood. Also, check for body grounds that mayhave broken or are damaged.

Check fuse no. 14 10amp it powers the mirrors and windows located in under left side of dash fuse/relay panel
