2000 Volkswagen Beetle Start Car Blue Light Comes On Cold Sometimes Flashes Red

when i start my car the blue light comes on when it is cold,but sometimes it flashes red and makes a beeping sound but then it goes off again and turns blue.it doesnt do it everytime.

Check your coolant fluid level in the round coolant bottle.... make sure the fluid is between the min and max mark.

When the fluid drops below the min mark, the red light will come on. The red light also comes on when the engine
is running too hot / overheating.

ONLY open the reservoir cap (for adding fluid) when then engine is cold!!!
