when I start the van from cold, then turn the wheel all the way to right or left it makes loud noise.. Then it seems the steering is failing, after a few minutes running, the noise went away.
After an hour stop, same thing happen again. Please help, Thank you

If the loud noise is a squealing type of noise, check the belt condition and tension.

If it is a groaning or whining noise, that should be from the hydraulic system. Check the fluid level and condition. If condition is bad, replace the fluid.
