had oil pump changed now car over heats and will not shift in to 3 rd gear can you help

Check transmission oil level is correct, check coolant levels and find out if they removed and replaced a thermostat, also make sure that the cooling fans are coming on and run a transmission and engine diagnostic scan for fault codes, start here.
