I'm in the process of bleeding the clutch and the release valve on the slave cylinder does not look like others do. How do I loosen this type of valve to let the air out?

The valve has a loose fitting metal top on it, that when pressed, feels like it has a spring under it. The cap just spins and will not come off with light pressure.Am I supposed to pull on the cap to release the air or should the cap be taken off to expose the fitting?
