Can a Vapour Canister from a 2003 toyota echo work o n 2000 toyota echo? I am looking online to find the replacement unit but can only find the 2003 for less than $200. the 2000 is not available unless i go to the dealer and pay over $450.

you would have to match them up, they may go on different

Yes I could mechanically attach it to the car, the question is do they function the same way since there are two connectors and 4 hoses on each unit. the sizes and types of these connectors look the same.

they do the same but not sure about hookups as far as electrical. lot of money to spend to try out.
