I have a 2000 toyota corolla that was damaged on the hood and the driver side fender. I want to know if I could use body parts from a 2002 toyota corolla to replace those parts. Are the body styles similar?

We don't have access to that kind of information unless someone knows from experience. Your best best is to ask at a body shop. They get books every month that list part numbers for body-related stuff. If the part numbers are the same for both years, the parts will interchange. If the part numbers are different, they still might fit but look different. Body lines and curves for fenders, for example, might be different than those on the doors.
