Just done oil change on Toyota Avensis automatic now feels like clutch slipping? And loss of power, why?

Sorry it was a novice at work, would emptying the tranny fluid cause the problems and would it be harmful to drive about 10miles in it?

Refill the trans. Yes, it will damage and will cause the clutches inside to slip. Make sure to use the correct type of ATF. Do not drive it until it is refilled.
