2000 Toyota Avensis choking

my avensis 1.8 pertol seems to choke when you try to put some power on if you hit a hill chokes put foot down it jerks and chugs then goes ok changed plugs fuel filter and air flow sensor feels like there is dirt in it cleaned card of dirt used red x to clean tank and injectors not much change hope someone can help

Did you check for trouble codes?
Was the exhaust system checked for clogging?

have not checked the codes exhaust ok i was wondering if the fuel filter could be problem old one was clogged and new one lot smaller wondering if it is restricting fuel flow to engine

If the size is smaller, it could restrict fuel flow. On the other hand, if the old one was badly clogged, the fuel tank could be dirty and being smaller in size, the fliter could be clogged again within a short period.
