I have a 2000 toyota corolla W/ a 3speed trans I would like to change it to a overdrive unit outher then the trans & shifter what else will i need to do

That is a lot more complicated than you think. The operating system was engineered to operate the existing transmission. You cannot simply put a different transmission in it. You won't have anything to control it.
