Not all the time but enough times when I come to a complete stop the vehicle will not move after I release the brake and when i press on the gas it kicks then goes, also when I am reversing without the gas it will some times stop on its own, What could it be

check the fluid level first , if it's brown or dark then head to a trans shop.
