Toyota 4Runner heater problem!

I have a 2000 toyota 4 runner. And the heater has gone out but the air conditioning still works. Whats the problem

First of all, do the controls work? If so, check heater control valve at the firewall. If that's good, check for a blockage in the heater core by attempting a flush. If that's good, you'll have to remove the HVAC unit and look for a stuck blend door or leaking vacuum line/solenoid.
