Trying to find evaporate canister on a 2000 saturn. Trying to find because the is a strong smell of gas in car after pumping. And when pumping gas can only put in less than a dollar at a time. Vent tube has been checked and it is clear

The evap canister is on top of gas tank. There should be canister purge valve, under the hood, passenger side, forward of strut tower.

I dont know litre size of engine? My database wont say station wagon.
