2000 Saturn Sl2 Got Home Shut Car Off Locked Doors Remote Set Alarm Off Put

When I got home and shut the car off, I locked the doors with the remote and it set the alarm off. I put the key in and turned it to turn it off. If I push the ulock button, the daylight running lights flash. Will a bad DRL relay cause this?

Does the car start?A drl relay isnt going to effect the alarm.Does the car have a aftermarket alarm installed?
