car loses throttle pedal

2000 Saturn SL , starts and drives fine until you hit around 55 mph for about 3-5 miles than the car loses throttle pedal and sit at a idle for awhile than picks throttle back up and can go for awhile before it starts doing it again,

I replaced the fuel filter, I turn the key on with the filter off and the fuel pump turns on and then the fuel comes out at a steady stream then shortly it goes to a trickle .put it back together and starts fine and runs until the same sun arial starts all over again !There is no codes thrown, I checked the engine light it works put code reader on it no codes,
