2000 Saturn Sc2 You Reassemble Steering Rack That Disconnected Two Conjo

the steering rack was disconnected from the joints that connect the rack and steering wheel. am i making this to hard, that i just need to reconnect them?

So was the steering wheel straight when you discounted the intermediate shaft?I need all the details?
