Hi! Just had turbo replaced and engine filter box. Turbo blew white, blueish smoke before replacing. Box was broken when animal ran under car. Took to garage and had repaired by friend of a friend (body and fender shop). Anyhow, new turbo was replaced and used engine filter box. Went to pick up car, started up okay, no smoke, idled okay left idle for twenty five minutes while at garage. Left garage and started home started up a grade and car started to buck, loose power and shut off. Started up again and drove seventy five feet, same thing. So I drove car on berm of road for two miles and made it home. Still have good idle, sitting at home, but if try to drive up incline car bucks and will shut off. Put dry gas and fuel injector cleaner, but did not solve problem. Any suggestions? Thank you!

The check engine light should have triggered on by now. At the very least start posting a pending code. Can you have the computer scanned for codes and post them on here so we can get a better idea and guide you in the direction you need to go?

Hello TOPHOSE1,

If you decide you would like to conduct the scan yourself here is a link to an article from this site that features written step by step instructions and pictures explaining how to do the scan yourself. Also, I have included a link to our YouTube channel with a how to video on code scanning.

This is applicable even if your check engine light is not on.

Most scanners are inexpensive to purchase, you can purchase one online from sites like Amazon.com

Once you have the codes please get back to us with the code number(s) so that we can further assist you. We are always happy to help.

Thank you for visiting 2CarPros.com.

Kindest regards,

Renee
