hi ther i have a rover 25 with a 1.6 engine and when i depress the clutch pedal it goes into gear and even whilst running it goes into gear whilst not pressing the pedal any ideas of what this could be ?

If you can shift w/o depressing the clutch while moving -there's a problem with your transmission snchronizers

ther is no drive at all if im stationary i can go into gear easily in the 'H' pattern but wont engage . clutch pedal seems ok and has the same resistance as normal thanks

ok so now what will i do ? as the car only has 47000 miles on it so it cant be the clutch plate itself surely ?
