The electric cooling fan isnt running on my 2000 Sunfire. i changed fan relay and temperature sensor located on top of the pipe conected to the top radiator hose and the fan fuse is good and the fan will run if hooked up directly to the battery ,. what could be causing this?

Did you check voltage and ground at the fan connector. You can use a jumper at the relay, to see if fan will run. Jumper goes between terminal 30 and 87, the fan should run. Did you check for voltage at the fuse circuit? Even if the fuse is good, if there is no voltage, the circuit is dead.
