I have A 2000 sunfire(auto, 4 door). The dash lights and trunk lights do not work( all other lights work). I have changed bulbs and fuses with no results, I also had a friend connect to the computer and no errors there either. At this time I cannot afford to take it into a mechanic for it to be repaired and trying to find other fixes I have little car repair knowledge, I also have a car manual but the electrical diagrams are not clear to me. If someone could assist me in finding a solution, then I could stop taking a cab to my security post. Thank you for your time in reading my post and any help would be warmly welcomed.

Apart from the dash indicaor lights, are other illumination indicators such as power window switches, radio, heater-A/C and courtesy lamps working?

Do you have a test light or DVOM?
