security light came on in car, now car won"t start; 2000 Grand AM SE

If you have the correct key, there is a problem with the system. To bypass it, turn the key to the run position for 10+ minutes until the light goes off. At that point it should start. Now the bad news, it needs to go to a dealer. They are the only ones with the proper test equipment to diagnose the problem.
