Where is the fuel sending unit located in a 00 Pontiac Firebird

I have to replace the fuel sending unit in my car but I don't have the manual so I could check where is it at or how can I have access to it.
any help will be appreciated

Are you looking for the fuel level sensor?If so its a attached to the fuel pump module and is inside your gas tank.

Yes it is what i'm looking for but how do I gain acess to it I heard that some cars has a acess panel under the rear seat so I want to know where exactly I can get to it if this make and model have it under the rear seat or do I have to drop the tank?

There is no axes hole. Labor to remove the sender is 4.2 hr

You would have to remove the gas tank some of the buicks etc have a acess hole but not that model.
