My car's door locks, power windows and courtesy lights don't work. The buttons on the door or key fob will not work. The radio stays on after you open the door also. Power mirrors do work. Checked and cleaned ground bus at the drivers kick plate. Checked wires in the door jam. All okay. Redid connection at tan and white wires under the drivers seat. What am I missing? Checked all fuses too.

Hello,

Nine times out of ten i its the DDM (drivers door module) located behind the door panel on the drivers side. I would try a used to save money. Here is a guide to help walk you through taking the door panel off with diagrams below for your car:

Check out the diagrams (below). Please let us know what happens.

There is no BCM in these circuits just more door modules. Here is a guide to help you test the connections and the door lock and window wiring diagrams so you can see how the systems work:

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/how-to-check-wiring

Check out the diagrams (below). Please let us know what happens. It sounds like one of the other modules is out, you will need to do a can scan to see which one.

Got it fixed. A friend of mine at Extreme Automotive in Junction City, Kansas pulled the whole wiring harness out of the drivers door and found the purple data wire broken off at the pin in the connection at the kick panel. Also two other wires were broken between jam that I couldn't see. Hooked everything back up to the original door module. Everything worked perfect. Oh thanks for the images Ken. I copied them and printed them off for future references. So happy. The GM dealer here is a goat rope.
