where on the transmission is the control solenoid located

? I have tried several different sites to get a diagram but failed miserably please I hope you can help me in this matter. I have got the van diagnosed but not quite sure where our is located.

There's a group of them called the solenoid pack. It is bolted to the front of the transmission and has a thick rubber noise-canceling cover over it. A rectangular electrical connector is plugged into the top of it. That only applies to the computer-controlled four-speed overdrive transmission, not the tough three-speed transmission.
