low brake pedal

i replaced the pass frt caliper. thought i could just bleed out caliper. the pedal has alot of travel but the brakes work..i went ahead and bled the whole system.the pedal still has alot of travel.should i just bleed the system again.2000 plymouth neon

When you bled the brakes did the master cylinder ever go dry? If so Bleed the master cylinder then bleed one line at a time. Do not let the master cylinder get too low before refilling it. After one wheel is done move on to the next one. That should take care of the problem.
