Opel Astra 2000 model. This car refused to start after various checks made on the electrical system. We had checked the following areas (a) brain box (b)governor (c) fuel filter (d) electrical wiring system (e) upper and lower sensors (f) key sensors, etc, it does not start (with a functional new battery) inserted

I dont have any repair info on your car but will still try to help you. So when you turn the key to start the car the starter is inop? Also can you hear the starter click etc when trying to start it?Also do you have a multimeter?Did you make sure the battery cables are clean and tight?

Verify that your ECU is powered up. That is, check your powers and grounds and check all fuses related to the ECU. Best to get a wiring diagram.

Keep it simple: spark, good timing, fuel, compression, air supply and injector pulse. If all is well check your ECU. It must be it.
