2000 Oldsmobile Intrigue Air Conditioning

I just bought this car a week ago and the air conditioning system worked perfectly. Within the last two days, the cooled air has stopped coming out of the driver's side vents. It is cool on the passenger side vents, however. I believe the issue may be a blend door. Is there a way that I can check on this and possibly fix it myself before I spend the money to take it to a shop? Could this be another issue? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
