I followed the instructions in the owners manual and the light is still on. What is the next step? Does the relay go out?

Just before the warning light came on I was driving on a rough patch of roadway with pot holes, and uneven road surface of ashpalt and cement.

Thanks,

Mark

If you hit a pothole and this came on, then we could have an issue with a speed sensor or some other connection, so we need to start with checking for codes.

Even though this is not the check engine light there will still be codes. These are called C code and are meant for ABS and traction control systems among others.

Here is a guide and a video that will help with pulling these codes:

Once we know what codes are there, we will have a better idea what the issue is but the most likely cause of something like this is a speed sensor issue so here is a guide that will help with this.

Please run through all this info and let us know what codes you have, and we can provide the testing that will walk us through the issue.
