smell gas fumes

Smell gas fumes when heater is on but not when I have the cool air circulator on. Gas line or heater core?

The only place it can get gas fume is through the fresh air pick up and the engine compartment. There is no gas inside the passenger compartment. You likely have a leak at or around the engine area.
