we replaced the water pump, and the rad cap. and it blows the rad cap off and could it be the thomostat

have it checked for head gasket problem. it could be t stat however but I kind of doubt it.

so the compression blowing the rad cap off

it's either a blockage or the head gasket is leaking compression into the cooling system which blows the cap off
