My vehicle was running fine. The other day I ran into a store came out it wouldnt start. I boosted it and got it home. Once home I shut it off ant tried starting it again. Nothing. I threw the battery charger on it for the night and tried the next morning. Again, nothing. It starts fine with a boost and runs fine once started. I took the battery in to get tested to two places and both told me the battery was fine. I replaced the alternator just in case, and it is doing the same thing. I was thinking it was the starter but dont understand why it starts everytime with a boost. If anyone could help or give me a suggestion it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

To confirm it is the battery, have a helper turn the key to the start position while you check for power to the smaller wire at the starter. If there is power, chances are the starter is bad or in the process of going bad.

If there is no power, check the starter relay.
