why is my nissan almera tino 2000, 1.8 engine smoking even after reconditioning the cylinder head and repalcing the piston rings

Did you measure the bores? were they with in specs for the rings you used, did you hone the bores and wash down carefully, what oil are you using, synth will not bed in the rings.
