nissan quest shake even with replacement of distributor and spark etc

My 2000 nissan quest shaked on idling for a while and then lost power. Then the distributor is replaced. But I still feel it shake a lot on idling and driving. What's the reason for this problem?

any luck? are all cylinders firing ok? are injectors good? is compression ok?

when i have an engine shake i try to find which cylinder is possibly weak/malfunction by taking wire off cap 1 at a time until i find wire that makes NO change in engine sound/feel. then i troubleshoot that cylinder and components.

i use plastic tongs to remove wires 1 at a time that i have pre loosened so they are easy to lift off cap.
