In my 2000 nissan pulsar, one ignition coil keeps breaking (4 times now, twice in the last year) is there some underlying problem that i'm missing? Why is it always the same one (2nd from the left) that keeps breaking?
Cheers

Well, just not working, the car runs on 3 cylinders, by switching the coils around I can determine which one is not working, replace it, and car is back to 4 cylinders.

When I look the part up online it says 'ignition coil' but there are four of them, they sit on top or the 4 spark plugs. Maybe they have a different name?

These are ignition coils, some call them coil packs for each individual cylinder.
For electrical components, it is difficult to determine their lifespan but replacing them 4 times in 2 years is too much. Were the coils used OEM?
