Hey hows it going I have a nissan maxima, and I checked everything on this car and it is still showing me a code that I need to change the air control valve which I changed twice brand new. But the code 0505 for air control valve is still showing on my scanner, I have a feeling that there is a broken wire somewhere. But I was wondering if you guys could supply me with a wiring diagram for the air control value on a nissan maxima. Thanks

I RECKON THE EZist THING TO DO IS UNPLUG THE IDLE AIR CONTROL VALVE AND CRANK UP YOUR RIG, THIS MAY RESET THE SYSTEM, KILL THE ENGINE AND PLUG IT BACK IN.

YOU MIGHT GET ANOTHER IAC CODE TO POP UP, YOU CAN CLEAR IT LATER, THE P0505 MAY GO AWAY.

SINCE YOU SAID YOU ALREADY REPLACED IT, THE ONLY OTHER THINGS THAT I FOUND THAT COULD BE THE ISSUE IS A SHORT IN THE IAC WIRING OR A DEFECTIVE PCM

LET ME KNOW IF YOU STILL NEED A DIAGRAM, YOUR VIN MAY INSURE I GET THE RIGHT ONE

LET US KNOW HOW IT GOES

WHILE I WAS IN PRODEMAND W/ YOUR VIN

I SAW 3 SAFETY RECALLS FROM 2006 AND 2009, ALL WITH THE SUBJECT OF EXTERIOR LIGHTING. THE WAS A VOLUNTARY RECALL DEALING WITH THE HITCH MOUNTED BICYCLE RACK

FOUND IAC IN DIAGRAMS

THIS MIGHT MAY THINGS SIMPLE ON YOU

PRODEMAND IS A "PAY" KINDA ONLINE REPAIR MANUAL WITH HUNDREDS, IF NOT THOUSANDS OF VEHICLES CATALOGED IN IT. LIKE FROM 1974 ON UP. JUST THROWING A WILD GUESS, THERE'S PROBABLY AT LEAST 100 WIRE DIAGRAMS FOR YOUR VEHICLE ALONE.

BEING THE WHOLE SITUATION ABOVE, MUCH OF THE INFORMATION IS "UN-COPY-ABLE" OR LIKE DIAGRAMS, "UN-SAVE-ABLE" IN THE TRADITIONAL COMPUTER WAY 'CAUSE THE SITE JUST WON'T LET YOU (SOME THINGS ARE EXCEPTIONS)

HOWEVER

WE HAVE PERMISSION TO MAKE SCREENSHOTS, IN ORDER TO MAKE THINGS "BIG ENOUGH" TO SHOW ON 2CAR, I SOMETIMES HAVE TO MAKE 3-4 SHOTS OF A DIAGRAM TO GET THE WHOLE THING (I USUALLY OVERLAP 'EM SOMEWHAT), I HAVE TO TAKE 'EM TO "PAINT" EACH TIME AND SAVE 'EM TO MY PICS (SOMETIMES I'LL CROP THEM) THEN "YOU" SORTA HAVE TO PUT MY SHOTS TOGETHER (PRINT 'EM, OR FOR HEAVENS SAKE, DO IT IN YOUR HEAD!)

THERE ARE 4 DIAGRAMS FOR "ENGINE PERFORMANCE" ALONE

BELOW, I HAVE YOU A SHOT OF THE 1ST DIAGRAM, JUST THE TOP PORTION

THAT RECTANGLE DEALEE ON THE LEFT IS THE "ECU", IF YOU COULD SEE THE WHOLE DIAGRAM, IT CONTINUES DOWN AT LEAST 3 MORE SCREEN SHOTS, W/ BILLIONS OF WIRES COMING OUT OF IT!

ON THE OTHER END OF IT, IT SAYS IT'S LOCATED "BEHIND INSTRUMENT LOWER COVER"

IF YOU DESIRE MORE, LET ME KNOW, I'LL DO MY BEST!

SO THE ENTIRE "IAC" WIRING SEEMS TO BE IN MY 1ST SHOT, LEFT SIDE

(1/4 OF 1 OF 4 DIAGRAMS OF A HUNDRED MORE FOR YOUR CAR!)

SEEMS UNBELIEVABLE!

MY '46 WILLYS JEEP IS PRETTY DARN COMPLICATED, DIAGRAM #2, IS "EVERYTHING"!
