2000 Nissan Altima Had Blown Head Gasket Mechanic Repaired However Still

My 2000 Nissan altima had blown head gasket. My mechanic repaired it. However, it was still running fine. and He then disconnected computer wire from one of the fuel injectors & its running fine. Is it okay to leave it disconnected. He says its fine. Please advise

does not make sense. please re post, no it is not ok to unhook something and leave it off
