car is showing an egr valve and knock sensor code was told it could be the evap system

the check engine light is on there are no noises coming from the engine and the car runs fine the egr control valve and charcoal canister were replaced last year physically examined them could see no broken wires or hoses

I meant evap control valve not the egr valve

try cleaning out the control valve the egr valve or the canister ? And how do I go about doing that?
