The car will start, but it acts like its not getting enough fuel. Acts like it may be only running on 3 cylinders. I changed the spark plugs. People are telling me it may be the fuel filter. I dont have many tools and it doesnt run well enough to take it somewhere to have a code scanner run on it.

If the check engine light is on, we need to get the codes from the computer. Are you able to rent or get a scanner from a local parts store?

Also, have you checked fuel pump pressure?
