Measure the voltage right on the fat output terminal on the back of the generator with the engine off and with it running, then holler back with those numbers.
Also, I'm not familiar with the charging system on your car so describe how many small wires are connected to the generator. There will be one for sure, but there could be two or three. The voltage regulator is built in along with the brush assembly. It's fairly common to have worn brushes but I don't know how hard they are to replace. The brushes can be replaced on many Chrysler products without removing the alternator from the engine, but from the picture of yours, it looks like the rear case has to come off.
I was floored when I looked up the regulator. It's almost $200.00! You can get a whole generator for not much more than that. They must be pretty proud of that part!
