why new shocks are not comfortable for my car?

Mitsubishi lancer car 2000 model:
Few months age I replaced all four shocks ,but I find on cirtain roads car is not at all comfortable and starting to make noices...why.

incorrect installation, cheap shocks or possible alignment issues

Other possible causes are bad suspension bushes, linkages etc that is now accentuated by the new shocks.
