Hello,
Every vehicle has steering wheel lockout safety device. Which prevents the steering wheel from turning when the key is off.
If the steering wheel is turned in either direction the lockout can get engaged, it will not allow you to turn the key.
To get the key to turn, grasp the steering wheel and put pressure in the same direction that the wheels are turned. This will release the lockout and you will be able to turn the ignition with the key.
