I want to purchase this car but the mileage is too high, for 2k$, I was wondering if there is a way to reduce mileage or what can I do to have a better chance that the car will last me a while? Will i have to replace the motor? Or Transmission? Or what can I do. Thanks Esmer.

What do you mean by "reduce mileage"?

Mileage is no longer the only indicator of a car's life. If it has been well-cared for and maintained, it can go a long time yet. My minivan has 406,000 miles on the engine and 247,000 on the rest of it. I have no plans to retire it due to high mileage. Rust is another issue.
