2000 mercury villager front right wheel making sqeaking noise when making turns

Check that the wheel bearing is ok, there should be no movement when jacked up and rocking the wheel top to bottom, also some pads have a wear indicator that touches the rotor with low pads, check the pads are not worn to low as well, start here.

I don't think its the pads as the brakes were redone not long ago but it might be the bearing. Its also more of a clicking noise than a squeak if that makes a difference and it occurs whenever I turn the wheel in either direction.

That will be a CV joint in a drive shaft, have them inspected.
