My old mechanic was replacing my power steering pump and put the pulley on backwards. I've since fired him and would like to know is there anyway possible to take it off without damaging the pump.

break off the pulley portion till you are down to the hub. heat it up and use an air hammer to push it off.

by the way, common mistake that a lot of guys do.
