Oil pan gasket replacement

How do i replace oil pan gasket 2000 mercury sable 24 valve v6?

Oil pan removal

Disconnect battery negative terminal.
Jack up vehicle.
Drain engine oil.
Remove the starter and torque converter cover.
Remove the oxygen sensor near the rear of the oil pan as seen from front of car.
Remove the oil pan bolts and drop pan as far as you can.
Using a 13mm impact wobbly you can loosen the oil pump and let drop down 1/2 inch or so.
You don't have to remove the bolt or pump.
The oil pan literally will then drop out.
