how difficult is it to replace the passenger side valve cover gasket,V8

i have not seen the car yet,family member asked me if icould work on it, it has 140,000 miles on it

It is not too hard you just need to keep up with where everything came from . When you remove the spark plugs wires it is especially important you put them back on the way they came off.
You are lucky to be working on a V8 as there will be no issues with room or having to get into a really tight place.
Do not overtighten valve cover bolts as they do not take much to tighten and a little silicone to help the seal would not hurt.

Thanks for the info,thats what i thought about about the V8,glad it wasn"t a V6
